National Institute on Drug Abuse is a government funded association that helps people who abuse substances and want to take control of there lives. This charge has 2 critical components. The first is the strategic support and conduct of research across the broad range of of disciplines. The second is ensuring the rapid and effective dissemination and use the results of that research to significantly improve prevention and treatment and to inform policy as it relates to drug abuse and addiction.
This is good because it provides alcohol and drug addicts and abusers along with family, friends and the community what they can do to help each other |
